What Makes our Groups so Special?
ElevateAbility’s Social Group isn’t your typical structured program—it’s a welcoming, laid-back space where adults with disabilities can connect, relax, and be themselves. It’s designed to reflect the natural, unstructured social moments many people experience in high school or college—late-night conversations, spontaneous game nights, and shared laughs over inside jokes.
While a facilitator is present, they aren’t running the show. Social Group is peer-driven and democratic—members shape the vibe, bring up topics, and decide what they want to do together. Whether it’s playing cards, talking about relationships, or planning a silly challenge, it’s all about self-expression, friendship, and having fun on your own terms.
Throughout the year, Social Groups also offer optional workshops—fun, skill-building sessions like:
Dating & healthy relationships
Cooking and meal planning
Gardening & Flower Arranging and MORE
It’s more than a program. It’s a place to belong, grow, and enjoy the kind of social life everyone deserves.
